"Shannon,
Bailey is the coolest cat ever. I socialized her from a kitten with rides in the car, trips to the supermarket, bank and local coffee shops. She has even been to Snowbird Ski Resort, where she was getting lots of attention. She loves airplane rides and is better behaved than most children in coach class and stealing everyones heart. She has accompanied me on cross country flights to New Orleans where she discovered crawfish.
She likes to give me kisses. She loves baths, but hates the hair dryer. At almost eight months old, she still constantly wants to play and I have to come up with new toy ideas to keep her entertained. She does love to EAT! I remember Shannon telling me that Bailey "Found the Food First" of her litter.
Her personality is unique and grabs everyone ones attention who is around her. And... she is very pretty!"

"I contacted Shannon from a online advert I found out in cyber space as I fell madly in love with "Yeats" a Male Seal Point Himalayan.
After speaking with her I was extremely comfortable with her love and care of all her cats (big and small). I've talked with so many breeders who seem so puffed up about their cats, not Shannon - she was very personable and enjoyed speaking with me, not at me. We spent much time on the phone speaking of she, her family and every detail of my now kitten's personality. She knew him and he's lived up to her description to a T. Honestly, I fell in love with her too!
It's so very important to have confidence in your breeder, and I've found that in Shannon. When (Yeats) Mr. Winston arrived from Texas (on Continental Pet Safe) he was totally unaffected by the Airplane trip! I was SHOCKED! He came out and began purring and rubbing on me like I was in his home! He's the most well balanced, precious little guy I've ever met! He's not afraid of ANYTHING, not even the Vacuum! That is a crown on your head, Shannon! My husband and children adore him and we've become wrapped around his little paws big time!

"Hi Shannon. We just wanted to let you know how much we love our chocolate point Himalayan we got from you in June. He is so sweet but also very playful. He plays tag with our shaded silver Persian. He is so gentle that when we clean his face he lays on his back perfectly still until we are finished. He is getting along great with our other cats. His appetite is growing everyday much like he is. He eats a can of wet cat food in the morning all by himself and then eats dry food whenever he wants it through the day. Then he eats a half of a can in the evening! Snicks now known as "Tex" is a loveable little boy and definitely the best choice you recommended. As you can see from his picture he no longer has that wiry thin coat of fur but a thick coat of beautiful Himalayan fur. We have often said we should have named him "Bandit" with that mask he has around his eyes.
He has adjusted well with the other cats, Toby, Tabby, Torrie, Theo and Woody. In fact, Tex is the boss around the house. He is very possessive of me and will chase the other cats away if he sees them near me when they come to me for their attention time.
Tex is so loving. He always wakes me and my husband up in the middle of the night
giving us "kitty kisses".
I would highly recommend Meow House to any one who is thinking about purchasing a

"Madeline is the first cat I have ever owned. When I saw this little thing I just fell in love! Her little eyes are full of curiosity and her energy is awesome!! She is so smart and has adjusted so well to her new home! She does very well with eating, brushing and playing and has only meowed for about 5 miutes at bedtime and then I don't hear her again the rest of the night!! I bought her a really nice black panther colored soft bed (to match her beautiful black smokey coat), but she prefers the back of the washer right now! She knows exactly where the kitty litter is and has done wonderfully with her private time! She has also had no problems finding the kitty door leading into the garage where I keep her kitty litter!! Thats nice!! My boyfreind and my mom are both allergic to cats but have had very little reaction, if not at all, to Madeline. Shannon, you have been such a great advisor to me and have helped me make the transition as easy and stress free as possible (I had no idea what to expect!) I will certainly keep you posted as Madeline grows up:)!"

"My son came to visit, he has two big cats and when I visit him they run away and never let me near them. My son was amazed at how Tabitha inter-acted with him. She showed him so much affection and followed him everywhere and my son just loved it. Because Tabitha is so small, it reminds me of the old adage 'Beautiful things come in small packages.' My son's cats are beautiful and bond with him and his wife, but they just don't take well to others. Tabitha is friendly with everybody who comes into the house."

I first noticed your beautiful cats while passing the hours away on the web. I was immediately taken with a beautiful adult female named Scarlett. When I contacted you I was hoping for one of Scarlett's kittens and never dreamed of ending up with both Mom and baby (Sassy). Scarlett and Sassy are very social and love to be with us. Through all of our chats on line you were always an email away with questions and ideas and still are. You never left me wondering or worrying through the whole process of getting them to me.
If anybody is thinking of getting a kitten or an adult from Meowhouse, you can not go wrong. The kittens and adults are beautifully taken care of, very social and come with little care packages and lots of love and purrrrrs. Yes, I know that a new cat purchaser might be a bit leery as was I due to the fact that Meowhouse was so far away and I was trusting you with placing animals into a busy and happy home but I must say that you did it purrrfectly........

"Dash (Sweet William) will be celebrating his 1st birthday in April 2006, and I keep thinking of what a blessing he has been to our family. I am so thankful for him and for Shannon! I cannot begin to say how wonderful he is—so lovable and sweet and fun. He’s had glowing reports from the vet at his “well kitty” checks & vaccination visits, and we’ve had no problems whatsoever with his health or behavior.
He likes to be with us wherever we are. As I write this, he’s sprawled out in his kitty bed on my desk napping. He’s right in the thick of things when our children are playing—even jumps into our toddler daughter’s crib first thing each morning when he hears her wake up! And he loves to play in the backyard (it’s fenced in) with our other cat, Violet, and hide under bushes to watch the birds and squirrels.
Dash is an absolute joy and I am so glad that I chose him! Shannon runs an outstanding and honest cattery and I wish I could bring home about ten more of her kittens! I will be more than happy to be used as a reference for anyone wanting to know more about Meow House kittens."

"Choosing to bring a kitty into our household of three active kids and two busy adults was not an easy decision to make. I truly think we hit the jackpot by a) choosing to go with a Himalayan and b) getting our kitten from Meow house and Shannon. We were looking for a boy and Shannon offered Seamus (Whiskers O’Toole) and he was irresistible from first sight. He was a hearty and healthy little boy kitty and now he’s a beautiful one year old cat and very much a part of the family. We traveled by car from Oklahoma to Dallas to pick him up, then he joined the family road trip all the way back to Florida, via Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee and Georgia. He made the trip like a champ despite just being separated from his former home – he immediately used the litter box I offered him in the car/at hotels/in strangers homes – I was really amazed by how easy going this cat was. We also recently made a major move from Florida to Washington state and he sailed through that like a champ and adjusted to his new home immediately. I figured all along with the craziness of my household that Seamus would end up being one of those cats that you never see, that is always under a bed somewhere hiding and sleeping. But he’ll lay in the middle of the kitchen floor with the whole family buzzing through and act like he’s on a private beach somewhere. He’s so calm and serene! We have a very busy 2 year old that has given Seamus more than his fair share of harassment, and he just seems to know not to mess with her even though he’d be entitled. He puts up with limited snuggling, but he always wants contact on his own terms and always wants to be near one of us, no matter what we’re doing. He sleeps at someone’s feet each night, and if he gets kicked off the bed he will lay next to the bed. He follows us from room to room throughout the day, setting up a new napping spot wherever we happen to be. We couldn’t be happier and recommend Himalayans to anyone in the market for a new family member.
As a side note, my husband Brian has had lifelong allergies to cats. On a hunch and some advice from friends with cat allergies we tried the Himalayans and found that Brian can bury his face in Seamus’ fur and has zero reaction. I have no idea why and have no scientific proof that Himalayans are non-allergenic cats, but that is our experience. If Brian enters the house of someone with short haired cats (my parents and his parents homes included) he immediately has watery eyes and sneezing fits."

Meow house has such a beautiful selection. Picking up Noelle at the airport was a day I had been waiting for for weeks. Take my breath away! "Patrick is doing wonderfully. We call him Beureguard (Boda for short because he looks like Yoda). He fits right in and never has given us a problem. He gets along with his new brother and they play constantly together. So much energy - good to have that in the house again. He is very friendly and when awake follows me from room to room and when I am watching TV he is right there sitting next to me - unless he is in one of his running moods.

Hope all is well. Here is a picture of Romeo. As you will see, he is
becoming so beautiful and is the sweetest cat. He is so great with my
girls, especially the 3 year old. He takes rides in the baby
carriage, wrapped in a baby blanket and doesn't say a word. I can't
believe it. His fur is soo soft. He hasn't been any trouble at
all... He has free rein of the house. He loves to sit on top off our
leather sofa. It is his favorite spot and he must be with you
constantly.. The only time he meows is when he can't find you... He
hates to be alone and that suits us just fine. Even my husband, who
is not a cat person, loves to play with him. He was "fixed" not long
ago and made it just fine. The vet. staff wanted to keep him, but my
girls said NO WAY.... He has been the best addition and the perfect
fit for our family...I know we are so lucky that he is so great. None
of my friend's cats come even close. I am so glad we found you. You
really got him socialized and ready for our family...

Well, we have had Suzette for three days now, and we have fallen in love with her! She went to our vet yesterday and got another shot. All is well. She and 'Max' are still doing the kitty/cat dance with no problems. She is learning her new environment and hasn't yet explored the whole house. She is eating wet food as well as her dry and has a great burst of energy after she eats. She gets very rambunctious and runs in and out of rooms. She can be very silly. She has several new toys she likes and is a very busy kitty! We still have not chosen a new name, Mike and I can't agree on one or someone else is named that. But soon we will find the perfect name for her.
